We are really excited to announce that TwinnyDip will be hosting its first supper club at Hatch, Homerton on Saturday July 30th.

Being born and raised in Hong Kong, we were very lucky to have the opportunities to sample food and flavours from across the region. And so, we have decided on a nostalgic theme for our inaugural evening - EAST ASIA, inspired by our childhood favourites.

The evening will start with a summer cooler and the feast itself will be a four course affair with multiple starters to share, followed by a meat dish, a fish dish, and of course, dessert! The full menu is available here.

This is a small event with only 20 covers, so click here now to secure your spots!

The dinner itself will cost £31.9 which includes a pre-dinner cocktail or non-alcoholic summer cooler!

We look forward to seeing you on the evening! X

Are you always wondering (i) how industrially produced goods are made and (ii) whether these can be re-created at home? Well, we don't know the answer to our first question (and to be honest don't want to!). But we attempted the second at home, and are happy to report that we have great results with these rustic crackers that are great on a cheese platter!

Yes we have entered into Christmas month territory, but that doesn't mean everything has to be in all out celebration mode. In fact, it should be about the basics, and perhaps beating the winter darkness and cold! So today we want to share with you our latest quiche recipe! It is simple and effective if you are looking for some comforting but light flavours before the party season begins! (well... ours haven't begun yet!)

It has been a while since we updated our website / blog with new recipes - owing to travels / work but more so to laziness! So in an attempt to keep up the good work from 2014, here is our first recipe for 2015, and we hope to bring more to you in due course!

In the meantime, we hope you enjoy our take on the delicious Syrian Muhammara! It is super simple and quick to make! (apart from steaming / roasting the squashes - which does not require a lot of work!)

We are featured today on Guardian Readers' Recipe Swap, so grab the Guardian and ingredients for this yummy sandwich! These delicious spiced aubergines are inspired by a recent trip to the beautiful Greek island of Paxos. We picked up a few spices and fresh herbs from a local co-op and created this dish based on our interpretation of moussaka spices.

2013 has been a year of action for TwinnyDip. Our first printed recipe - Pea Hummus with Lemon Thyme was published on Guardian Cook Magazine in February 2013, which inspired us to create more recipes. Then came the CCC dip, Amok, PPP and others you have enjoyed! The blog was created back in February, and finally we launched our stall at Brick Lane Sunday Market in November 2013. We will be coming back to Brick Lane in the beginning of 2014, so follow us here for further updates!
